G - Kevin Punter- EA7 - 13.1 - vs MTA
This is a must-win game for PAR to stay on track with the Playoffs goal! We expect this one to be a derby and a close game, which means Zeljko Obradovic will need from his top scorer, Kevin Punter (season avg 14.9 pts), to bring his A-game tomorrow night! Kevin Punter is a fighter and often comes back strongly after a defeat. In the last two games, his PIR was below his standards (14 and 10 respectively), so for 13.10 crd we expect a strong comeback and a PIR greater than 19!
C - Daniel Oturu - EFS - 11.9- vs VIR
Oturu exhibited against PAO the same weakness we have seen in a lot of F/C who are in the process of transitioning to Euroleague level. His foul trouble limited his playtime and destroyed his PIR score. However, we will try the same trick we did with Calathes in the previous double week and for the same reason. Oturu is a very talented player and it is unlikely that he will have an equally bad performance in back to back games. The trick worked with Calathes last week, let's see if the pattern will hold once more.
C - Youssoupha Fall - ASV - 10.5 vs BER
Youssoupha seemed to have switched gears since the game vs ZAL where he posted his all time high PIR (36). His monstrous performance was followed by a solid 16 in c.17' vs CZV and now it is time for BER to feel the heat. It is only Koumadje that can contain his height advantage and the last time the two met he got quickly fouled out and Fall posted 14pts and 11 rebs for a strong 19 PIR. We think history is likely to repeat itself in Round 21.
