F - Isaia Cordinier - VIR - 10.0 - vs ASV
Cordinier is a charismatic, versatile player with significant impact on both sides of the floor. During Toko's absence we expect him to take more offensive responsibilities and secure his team's win against ASV with his scoring! Despite VIR not being in their best form we expect them to end up with the "W" here. This is a must-win game, if they want to secure a position in the top 6 of the league. This simply means we are more likely to enjoy a positive performance from Cordinier at a cost of just 10 crd! Keep in mind he is coming from a very good performance by the way (17 PIR against EFS).
F - Elijah Bryant- EFS - 9.1 - vs BAR
It is almost impossible to find such a value-for-money pick, especially when the....value is expected to be greater than ~ 14 PIR ! Yes, this is our expectation for Bryant's value in the following games! Elijah is in great form (29.7 and 23 PIR against VIR and PAO respectively) and we expect him to continue this strong performance against BAR. EFS is in a great mood after the emphatic win against VIR, so we expect them to fight really hard against BAR. While Shane Larkin draws all of BAR's defensive focus, we expect Bryant to inflict some damage with his scoring and versatility on both ends of the floor. And yes, you get all of this in the economic package of 9.1 crd!
C - Nikola Milutinov - OLY - 13.5- vs MTA
Moustapha Fall will be out for the following three weeks, which simply means that at a price of just 13.5 we can buy a C who is a PIR machine and is now expected to play more than 25 minutes per game! Yes, this is Nikola Milutinov. We are not driven from his last performance (31 PIR against BKN), we simply believe that now is the time for Milu to shine given that he will be the only available, top-class player to cover the C position for OLY, during a period that OLY will give several must-win games! Arguably, his avg PIR (14.67) is lower than expected and his general presence lately is generally discouraging but we have a strong belief that this is a pivoting moment that will pay you back with some additional crd!
C - Vincent Poirier - 11.9 - @ ASM
In absence of the one and only Walter Tavares, this is our opportunity to pick at a relatively low cost a superstar C who is expected to play for more than 25 min. until his counterpart is back! Poirier has a remarkable season so far (13.6 avg PIR in just 18 min. per game) but his performance has been left unnoticed by many Fantasy fans (popularity index just 4.9%), probably because the shade of the seven foot three C from Cape Verde is so big that covers everyone around him! Nevertheless, at a price of just 11.9 crd, we cannot ignore the high PIR per minute that Vincent will offer in the following games given that we expect him to play way more than his 18 min avg! This is all assuming his recent sore calf injury will not stand in our way!
