Xmas Hell (Vol I) - Round 15

G - Nemanja Nedovic - CZV - 12.1 - vs RMB

The CZV coach, Ioannis Sfairopoulos, has developed a reputation of preparing mentally his players before the big games and Nemanja Nedovic is simply his star player who is born for them! We expect this to be a tough game for RMB - and Nemanja to be a very good (well, good for CZV) reason behind this! If you are not convinced yet, take a look at Nemanja's PIR performance at home games (starting from the last one): 26.40 / 24.20 / 13.00 / 15.40 / 22.0 / 16.5. Don't you think this performance is worth the risk for just 12.1 crd?

G - Carsen Edwards - BAY - 9.0 - vs EFS

It seems that we now have some data to start looking for patterns, as we will use again the same (well, not exactly) argument to pick Carsen for this round. Looking at his PIR performance in the last three home games, we definitely see something very attractive: 30.80 vs EA7, 13.20 vs VIR and 25.30 vs PAR. For just 9.0 crd it is definitely worth a shot! Notice that we have not even mentioned EFS long injury list....but yes, you can add this factor as well!

F - Nicolo Melli - EA7 - 12.2 - vs ASV

We will not blame you if you feel stressed when you see EA7 players in our Fantasy picks list, as it seems this year they come with high volatility and uncertainty! Nevertheless...have you noticed Nicolo Melli's performance lately? 17.6 avg PIR in the last 7 games with 6.5 standard deviaton! The crd inflation has made us start looking for cheaper solutions without compromising our high expectations and it seems that Melli is just the right fit right now! If you factor in that Mirotic is out (and likely for Voigtmann to be in the injury list as well), Melli seems like a no brainer!

C - Josh Nebo - MTA - 11.9 - vs BKN

There are only just a few (relatively) costless options for consistent players at the C position and we will avoid giving you the obvious one (yes, that is still Johannes Thiemann and if you have not "locked" him yet that is simply bad for you). We will recommend Josh Nebo for this round relying on two factors. First, his impressive stability: 11 out 13 games with double digit PIR! This stat is impossible to omit! Second, MTA plays against BKN and their impressive frontcourt. That means Nebo will (have to) bring his A-game!
